is the Station Manager of Radio Starlion, broadcasting
to the patients of Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport.
He presents the request show Stepping Into Sunday and Saturday evening's Country Roads, sharing with listeners his great love of country music. During his time at Heartbeat/ 8 Towns, Alan was the station's
Chief Engineer and presented the original Sunday afternoon Country Roads show, produced by Kevin Conway - who later succeeded Alan as presenter.

Mike Wallbank joined Radio Starlion in 1994, presenting music requests,

local news and sport. Mike is still a regular on-air voice on Starlion, also producing the
Neighbourhood Noticeboard events guide and the Starlion Storybook, featuring short stories and poems read by members of the Stockport & District Writers Circle.
